I've sent an email to info@truefire.com requesting information regarding the "Ultimate Stick" DVD tutorials.

Not present on the TrueFire website. Listed, but marked as 'Out of Stock' at SE (with no known prospect of re-supply?). Web searches didn't bring up any other sources (not even used).

So, unless TrueFire have some copies stuck in a cupboard that they aren't trying to sell, I guess that counts as out of print?

No Stick DVD’s on Trufire at all. With DVD/CD players now being offered as accessories on computers combined with the advent of so many live online communication tools I’m curious if it is still worth continuing vs online lessons. Steve is welcome to have my copy if he wants it. I’ll send him an email and see if I have anything else he might have lost.

That looks like the way TrueFire (& pretty much everyone else?) has gone, at least for supply.

It makes a lot of sense for most companies & users (but it's nice if there's a way to use the resources off-line too - mains power cuts & comms breakdowns do happen!).

Greg Howard has excellent teaching material (books) I recommend seeking out. Two cents.

I have Greg's materials (books & youtube videos).
I have Bob's DVDs & youtube videos.
I have Chris Crain's materials (downloads).
I have Steve's book.
All excellent.

I'm self-taught in quite a few areas. I find that having things explained & demonstrated by multiple people, each of whom natrually has a different angle, is a very useful thing, so I want to add Steve's DVD too.

As Steve himself is fond of pointing out there's so little Stick instructional material out there a learner might as well take advantage of it all. :)

Also learn by observing The Stick's evolution process.
There are some cool techniques showcased here that were refined well after the Stickology book writing, the TrueFire DVD and during the two year pandemic gig hiatus. The Stick was invented as a an important creative music tool. That attitude should always be a major part of the learning process. Learn the basics and simultaneously explore new sonic frontiers.

Some very inventive stuff in there indeed. :D

Bob's weekly Zoom is also a great resource. Most of what's shown & discussed is way beyond me at present, but inspirational nonetheless. :)
