Re: New Book - How to play Chapman Stick The Kindle version was free so I downloaded it - it's all text (no exercises or music etc) and reads like something AI generated, like ChatGPT. Even more strange to me - the picture on the cover is a low-res screenshot from one of my YouTube videos!
So no - not legit.

If you click the Author's name on the Amazon page it reveals that he has a many "How to Play <insert instrument name> Made Easy for Beginners" titles. I didn't notice any review 'stars' on any of them... I also notice that many (all?) are available on Kindle Unlimited at zero cost, so that may be a way for any one who has that facility to check it out?

So no - not legit. I did that too & I agree that it's probably AI generated. In my 5 minute whiz through the whole 35 pages it all looked like generalisations & some bits were either downright nonsense (see quote below) or completely irrelevant (whammy bar?!!). Quote: ACCESSORIES AND EQUIPMENT
