Post Wanting to try a Stick - Dorset UK.
Hi Stickists.
I am intending to buy a Stick soon but my CFO feels I should try before I buy. [What's not to love] So is there anyone near East Dorset [Bournemouth/Poole] Hants area who could let me have a go on a Stick. I know I want one but apparently I need convincing!!!!!!!!!

Ha. My wife knew I wanted a Stick for 14 years when I finally ordered one. I hope everything works out!

I got all excited there thinking you might be near to me :D
Think I will just have to buy before I try :lol: or book a lesson somewhere in the UK.
I have wanted a Stick for years - like yourself taking some time to take the plunge!

Hi Andrew, I'm normally based in W.London but it so happens that I'm in the car heading to New Milton 'til Saturday lunchtime with my stick in the back (my wife's driving so I can "work" on the laptop!!!).

If that's close enough for you PM me and perhaps we can arrange to hook-up.

Thanks Ian - I have now had my first go on a Stick thanks to a nice guy called Al who is not far from me. He plays and teaches bass and has been playing Stick for 3 years. Really loved it - just need to convince my lovely wife now :D

It took me a bit to convince my wife, but it was all about the budget and plan. Once it was sorted out there was no issue. Good luck!
