[SOLD] Stick #619 for sale in UK
For sale: My Chapman Stick, number 619. As can be seen in the pictures, it is in excellent condition - it's pretty much unmarked. It has no significant marks on the bottom (see photo) or on the headstock. All the controls work as they should do (the pickup casing was replaced just before I bought it, in the summer), and all the hardware works as it should - machine heads and bridge are all fine, truss rod is as it should be, and all the frets are seated perfectly. It's a great instrument in great condition. I'm not 100% sure on the age, but I believe it to be late 1980s. It has clearly been looked after, and the previous owner doted on it.
Why is it for sale? Simple - I bought it as I really wanted to get into the Stick, having played the guitar for 25+ years, but a combination of lack of aptitude and lack of time means I think this instrument should be enjoyed by someone rather than sat in its flightcase. I'm certainly not desperate to sell, and I think it's worth what I'm asking for it. I think it's best if the buyer comes to see it (so therefore I would prefer cash on collection), but I will send at cost, but this must be insured and at your expense, and this will not be cheap!
Included is the original flight case (still with tools for adjustment), two sets of strings, an output lead (with two mono 1/4" jack outputs), and the neck strap. A copy of Steve Adelson's "Stickology" is also included.
I'm looking for £1100.
