I bought this stick early last year, but I'm unable to keep playing due to other commitments, and I'd much rather sell it to someone who will be able to play it.

It's a 10 string polycarbonate stick with stickup and in standard tuning, which I bought used from Stick Enterprises, so it's been completely set-up by Mr. Chapman himself. It hasn't seen much playing time, and is still in the condition in which I received it. It comes with a hard case, a stereo cable, a cable+adapter that I got to let you use it in mono mode, and some instructional materials: Free Hands book by Emmett Chapman, Stickology book by Steve Adelson, Lessons on the Stick Vol. 1 DVD by Bob Culbertson, and Basic Free Hands Technique DVD by Greg Howard. The books are slightly damaged, but it's only cosmetic and all of the information in the books is intact.

Just curious -- Why some frets a different color than the rest of the board?

You know, I'm not really sure. That's how it was when Stick Enterprises sent it to me. It's only noticeable under certain lighting conditions, and it doesn't impact playability or anything.

I am not interested in buying another Stick at the time, but I wanted to make you aware that brand new Railboards (the latest development by Emmett) are around $1,600.00. You may need to go lower to compete with that.

Keep in mind that the Railboard is $1,650, + shipping + tax (although that may be California only), + $250 for a case, and on top of that you have a long wait, and you're getting a largely untested model (I worry about what happens if the frets are damaged or worn down, as I don't think they can be replaced). I'm also including $110 worth of books and DVDs. All told it would cost over $2,000 and you wouldn't get it for a while.

That being said, I'm open to offers, and I'm willing to negotiate a lower price (especially if I don't have to pay eBay fees), and I may be willing to drop the price a bit more if the buyer doesn't want some or any of the instructional materials.

The Stick has been sold. For anybody else who would like the selling price as a reference, the Stick and everything else listed here sold for $1,500.
