10 string available in the Vancouver, BC area only
This is just to gauge interest for a Tarara 10 string in Classic tuning with fret rails, Emgs and abalone dot inlays. Hard case, cable, spare set of strings and Classic Stickbook included. Looking for someone local or in the general area (Washington state/Vancouver Island) that would be able to meet face to face. I bought it used, locally, a year and a half ago to try it out, but it tends to sit in the closet in favour of my Grand I'm not dying to sell it, but I feel it would be more practical to have a backup 12 string as I am starting to play out with the stick now. Looking for a possible trade or $1900 CDN. Anyone? I'm not interested in shipping the instrument anywhere except back to SE at this time.

I will send pics, privately, to genuinely interested parties. However, I do not wish to post pics on the forum just so people can ogle "Stick Porn".
No offense.
PM me.

What are you talking about? I have no idea what you're talking about. The Stick resembles a person's what? No. I have no idea ... I ... Have ... To go ... Practice now...

Again, not to offend, but the point is that I'm not really very motivated to sell it. That's why I don't want to post pics, sell it on the internet and have to deal with shipping.
If someone were to make it easier for me, I would be more motivated. I saw it originally for sale on this forum. When I bought it, it was through a person I was acquainted with from a Stick seminar and lived quite close to me. I couldn't, not buy it...(wait a sec?... yeah that's right) But as I said it, it sits in the closet. I've considered sending it to SE to switch it to DMR, like my Grand. However, I'd hate to go to that trouble if I still didn't dig it.
I thought if someone local jumped at it, then I wasn't really meant to have it anyways, and make up my mind for me. It's a beautiful instrument, and would certainly sell if I wanted to do it properly.

Just to give me an idea I looked at this page ( http://www.stick.com/instruments/hardwoods/) where there is a slide show of a tarara stick. Apparently the inlays are different than yours. Is it quite similar for the rest of it?
