Just before the summer, I purchased a Railboard but have realized that it is not going to be for me. I am looking to put it in the hands of someone who will actually play it and love it as much as it deserves to be played and loved. It is an amazing piece of work and engineering, and I would like to see it go to a good home. It is in pristine shape, hardly played. Details are:
-Railboard Black
-Matched Reciprocal Tuning
-R-Block Pickup module
-Black Hipshot tuners
-Linear inlays with silver adhesive tape
-Padded gig bag

Immediately after ordering, the prices went up on these, but I am not going to pass that on...all I am looking for is what I paid. So....drumroll please....$1750 and the buyer pays for the shipping. That is a beautiful instrument! Would want a Railboard one of these days. Have to save money first. ;(

This Railboard appears to have the machine textured surface like the more recent models.

Gorgeous too, I might add. Mahalo for beautiful pics and hooking somebody up with a deal as that price doesn't include tax which is easily an additional ~$150.

Have you thought about NOT selling and actually putting some time in to play it? I really dont mean to sound like a meanie but if you got it at the start of the summer........thats only 2 months ago man.
The Stick is very foreign to ALL of us when we start. (it wasnt for me either, for about a year)
Why don't you give it some time? Theres a lot of great music you will miss out on creating.

Valid questions and good points. But I believe that the amount of time needed to get a baseline adequacy with this would be taking away from my primary instrument of steel guitar. There are only so many hours in the day, and I feel that I would be shortchanging one for the other...I never intended the Stick to be my primary...and maybe that was the mistake from the get go.

So I hope this amazing instrument will find a good home and thank for the good thoughts!
