I recently fabricated a mahogany control cavity cover for my NS Stick. I took four sheets of laminate, glued them up, cut out the shape, dry fit it to my NS, sanded, stained and finished with a couple of coats of beeswax and orange oil.
Let me know what ya think!

Two of the best innovations I have seen in a long time are the separate easy access battery compartments (music man and many others). And magnetic battery compartments. Where the back panel is held on by magnets instead of screws.

I’d also like to have the railboard’s phantom power active rolled out on a lot more instruments. That is absolutely brilliant. And of course for more amp manufacturers to add that on as well.
