I'm interested in getting one but I'd love to be able to try one out first. Anybody in the Boston area, especially T-accessible, that would let me take one for a test drive?

I'm in CT, but there's no way I'm letting my baby out of my hands, however I will offer you this advice - if you can find an '80s used Steinberger L-2 or XL-2 in a music shop, and you like how that plays and sounds - that's what an NS Stick with a graphite neck is like.

I'm kind of doing a 3 part mini series on my own findings with the NS Stick, which are extremely favorable.

I will say this with no regrets - if you are to own one Stick - or if you are on a budget and want to maximize playing styles/techniques... nothing beats an NS Stick, for it is like 3 instruments in one.

Mine is tuned in what is called 8 String Guitar Intervals, which is an incredibly exciting but at the same time friendly way to get aquainted with this marvelous instrument.
