Hello All,

After almost 6 years of playing Stick, and a dozen temptations to have an NS, I finally got one.

I now have a beautiful Maple NS, ordered last friday, and arrived yesterday!!!
It was in stock, ready to ship!!! (Thanks to Ben for his help and advice).

As someone who was never a Guitar of Bass player, I wondered how easy standard frets would be to tap. The answer- no problem at all. My right hand was there in a second, and the left was close behind (though I am still getting used to the 4ths).

I will write more later, as I put other impressions into words.

Suffice it to say, I am quite pleased with the instrument, and am looking forward to exploring its unique possibilities.

I've been going back and forth about getting a stick for years now. The wait time is ultimately what has stopped me. The funny thing is, if I would have just bit the bullet a few years ago, I would have had one a long time ago.

NS/sticks in stock? Hmmmmmmmmm...

NS Sticks are a wonderful compromise tapping/strumming/plucking instruments! You can use Emmett's two hand tapping method, pluck it like a bass guitar or strum it like a guitar. It's as if an extended scale bass and a Chapman Stick had a baby!

I miss mine .......... and I knew I would! Maybe someday I'll be able to afford the luxury of buying another?
