Which Roland GK pickup for NS?
Which Roland GK synth pickup works best on an NS? Stock, or SE custom?
Anyone have any experience?
Also anyone tried the Axon AX 50, or AX 100 mkII, have any opinions of their equipment VS Rolands?
Still loving the NS.

Re: Which Roland GK pickup for NS?
I don't have a GK PU on my NS, but I have one on my guitar, which I did "test-fit" on my NS. The string spacing looks like it would work, but the round profile of a stock PU doesn't look very good against the flat profile of any Stick to me.
If you tried a stock on something like a VG-99, you would have to boost the inputs of the outer strings, and possibly lower the middle ones. I'm thinking a stock would work, but not get as good of results as the SE modified versions.
I'm thinking SE has done their homework on that one already, you would get better results using their modified ones in my opinion. From what I remember, the price is not that much different. If you buy a stock PU, you probably pay for all of that mounting hardware you will not need.

Re: Which Roland GK pickup for NS?
Thanks,
I have a GK on my Grand, and the string spacing is like 3/5 the width of the NS.
Unless there is another custom pickup, made for the NS, then the stock ones are what is being used.
I'll call SE.
