Half-Fretless NS/Stick For Sale
In a few days, I will be offering my Half-Fretless NS/Stick for sale on eBay. If you or someone you know is interested, I would be happy to entertain offers prior to listing the instrument. You can email me at
srmurrell@hfcc.edu with questions or comments. I would also be happy to respond with images of the instrument.
When the listing goes up, the text will read something like this:
You are bidding on a rare instrument that is the result of a collaborative effort between Emmet Chapman (of Chapman Stick fame) and Ned Steinberger (designer of some of the highest quality, most innovative basses in the world). But, you probably already knew that. Anyway, I am the original owner and when this particular instrument was made a year ago, it was one of only ten half-fretless NS/Sticks on the planet.
This instrument is in ‘like-new’ condition. It has a Roland GK-3 MIDI pickup that was installed by Stick Enterprises (to utilize the GK-3, you will need a Roland GR-20 guitar synthesizer or something similar.) The neck is graphite and the body is walnut, dyed black. I have included several images that can speak to the appearance. It comes with a shoulder strap, a 15’ stereo cable, an anvil flight case and a padded gig bag. A new set of round-wound strings was installed a couple of days ago.
