String Spacing
What is the string spacing on a NS Stick?
I read in previous posts that you can slap a NS Stick, but can you pop it as well?
I play a 6 string bass and recently bought a 12 string stick.

Re: String Spacing
Bass Strings= 14mm, Melody Strings= 10mm.
A little too narrow for most mere mortals to pop.

Re: String Spacing
So I get to contradict myself yet again.
After a little experimentation I decided that you can "pop" on an NS. The technique that worked for me was to pinch the string between the thumb and index finger of the right hand, pull away from the body, and let it snap back.
The more traditional hooking fingers under the string and pulling out is less effective because of the tight string spacing (Fender basses are 19mm).
With experimentation and adaptation, the NS can do most of those "Bass" things, and a lot more.
