New NS is winging its way to me as we speak.

Bought Brett's the other day.

Like to throw my instruments in the trunk for short hauls to the bud's houses and can't see that I need the bomb proof hard case for those forays into the unknown.

I've seen it mentioned here lately that Stick Ent has an NS soft padded case available and altho' Stick.com does not mention the NS by name they say that "We also have convenient soft gig bags.". I hope this includes one for the NS.

I will certainly ask when I call SE but I wondered if any of our esteemed members here have one and could enlighten us as to their opinion of it. Maybe even pm me a pic er two??

Funny thing, they *are* advertised and appear on the Stick.com website pricelist (for $120), but I have yet to see a picture of one...and I've looked pretty hard.

Wherein it is stated:
“I just received a Steinberger Synapse bag from Musician's Friend. The case is just a bit too narrow at the bottom. I can just barely get it zipped. I'm a little afraid of scratching the body with the zipper. I'm letting set for a bit to see if stretches any.”

That kinda put me off the Synapse Bag.

I just spoke to Yuta at SE. They do indeed make a Gig Bag for the NS. Basically the same design and components as the Stick Bag. I should get a call this afternoon or so about availability. No pics that Yuta is aware of. I MAY be able to pick one up this weekend. If they're not available, I’m still a goin’ to LA this weekend (from out here in the sticks) and I’ll do some bag shopping at all the usual places. I will report back on what I find but I'll probably just go with the SE bag as long as its not on a long backorder.

Also, Yuta tells me Nick Beggs is at the Hollywood House of Blues this weekend!!

Ordered an NS gig bag from Yuta at SE this afternoon. Sometime next week I'll try and get some pics up.

Oh, and, um, uh some pics of my NS that arrived a few hours ago. Can't talk. I got no time for this now. Gotta git to tap, er, strum, er, pick, er pluckin'.

Pics - Got the SE soft case for the NS (quite a while ago now, been kinda busy with my new NS!)
Slapped a couple of pics up in the Gallery and I guess they're in my "Member's Album" as well.

The bag is great. Built just like a Stick bag (imagine that!)
