Hi everyone,

Gary has out done himself again with this fab purple sunburst NS/Stick. Buffed mirror finish with recessed grain, wenge neck with glow inlays, AND a custom Roland GK MIDI pickup...

Glow inlays!
I would like to see a photo of it in the dark and glowing...

I love this color so much

This is similar to what I envisioned on my theoretical next Stick.

Nice GK-3 installation. I'd be interested to see the position of the GK-3 control part.

I've been working out my bass parts for rehearsal tomorrow and sneaking in tapped chords on my 5-string thinking how cool an NS would be right about now and you post this beautiful instrument picture. This isn't helping my patience while watching the savings account creep higher, Greg.

That is really nice!

I think they may persuade me away from the Railboard…. yep….. I need more Purple Haze in my life…. In fact I remember a time… 1969-70 when I first found out about Purple Haze… but that is another story, in another time in the future past!

A dye like that would look spectacular on light bamboo Stick! I guess the GK-3 control center is mounted on the back of the body?

Actually cable goes right through to the player's navel....

I guessed that it was on the back, I was just curios as to where it would be out of the way for all different positions of playing the instrument.

Since the NS has a body, it was more room for electronics, pickups and other stuff. I wonder if the GK control could be built into the body. At one time (and maybe still) Roland sold the control switches separately specifically to be built in for custom installations.
