Kirlin cables
I'm trying these cloth braided cables from a company called Kirlin, read some very positive reviews about these. Too early to tell the durability but as far as sound goes I'd say they're at least as good as monsters average class cable. The feel pretty solid and the plugs are high quality. http://www.kirlincable.us/pro03.php?tid=26

Re: Kirlin cables
I use XLR microphone cables and an XLR-TRS adapter. This makes it really easy to change cable lengths. They are available at most good music stores.

I also like the feeling of touching it when you have to roll them after a gig. +1

Re: Kirlin cables
I finally got around to compare these with my "basic monster" cables I have (not sure what series the monster cables are, I just know they're not the high end cables!) with my Fender Acoustisonic amp and they hands down have a broader spectrum of sound more lows and more highs. I should do a video some day when I'm really bored!

Re: Kirlin cables
I really like Monoprice for cables. They even have some braided cloth options for reasonable prices. https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=601470Half the price of the Kirlin cables and they seem to work just fine for me.

Yes Sir, I use the monoprice "stereo" cable for my Megatar. I've been really impressed by both cables actually! Kirlin plugs are pretty amazing though if you get a chance to check them out. I think with these 2 brands, I don't see any need to fork out the dough on monster any more.

IMO Monster cables are overpriced and use placebo effect marketing to mark up their insanely expensive products, trying to make people convinced they "sound better." If I pay more for a premium cable I'm expecting superior durability and low as possible capacitance so my signal won't degrade over a long length of cable. That's it. http://sfguitarworks.com/the-great-cable-myth/
