Hey everyone, I recently got commissioned to compose all the music and sounds for a videogame! It's nothing huge, it's a top down Galaga-style shooter, but I couldn't be more excited. As many of you know, videogame music is what got me started as a musician and having the opportunity to write the soundtrack to one is a dream come true!

So I'll be putting the music up on my Soundcloud, so far I've managed to finish a draft of 2 loops, one for the title screen and one stage music. Check them out!

A musical genre in itself, video games. Quantized, mechanized and compressed to death, then you get creative within the limitations, within the genre. The irrepressible muse, always finding new life.

Digging it Josh. This all the makings of a classic. I still dial this one up from time to time.

Thanks everyone. My plan is to take the drafts that my developer OKs and reproduce them with guitars, Sticks, synths and better sounding programmed drums rather than the garbage MIDI sounds Finale uses.

Just make sure you get paid. I know it sounds awful mercenary, but.... get paid. lol I love 'garbage' midi sounds hahaha that stuff is gold!
