Grand Railboard?
A little bird told me there is a batch of 12 string Railboards in the pipeline as we speak. I played one today and it was sublime. Same string spacing as a wood Grand. Same pickup & finish options, same great clear clean tone and look as a 10 string Railboard. Not too heavy either - which I thought it might be. Not. I'm scheming on one. Stay tuned.

Re: Grand Railboard?
Thank you for the inside info.
Emmett, if you are listening, ii am in the market for a gold plasma grand railboard with midi on the melody strings. Heavy gauge strings. 12-string classic tuning.
Once it is official, I will contact Cambria.

Re: Grand Railboard?
@ Markussz, the R-Block is currently the only option for the Railboard. The design of the housing for the pickup requires that the block pontoon on either side of the neck beam. It's an exciting time for 12-string players, looking forward to the announcement.

Re: Grand Railboard?
Gene, thanks for the info. I was so excited when I read Captain's post...I didn't catch that...he said it had the same string spacing as the wooden Grand, then in the next sentence spoke about the pickups....I combined the two sentences in my feeble brain, then posted in haste.
I've been jonesing for this stick for years now....never thought I'd see it happen, then it did. I want to be the first one on my block with a golden stick
