Post fOUR - Next-Level Limb Independence!
If you're unfamiliar with Nate Wood, he's this ridiculously talented drummer/multi-instrumentalist whose 'sideman' resume is a who's who list of the modern jazz world, but he's also played with the likes of Sting and George Harrison.

fOUR is a project of his that I won't even bother trying to describe, just watch and be amazed.

Hell yeah! GEPH is opening for him in Boston on 3/7! He's the level after next level, it's mind blowing.

And he sings!

I wish I could catch the show you're opening for him, Josh! Shame you aren't playing in NYC as well.

Speaking of 'next level', check out this video of Nate Wood's band, Kneebody, explaining and demonstrating their secret musical language.

I spent days picking up the pieces of my mind that were blown all over every square inch of my studio after watching this.

reminds me of Elvin Jones in the "man those limbs don't really all belong to the same guy do they"

There's a decent amt of evidence octopus work..a lot of their intelligence appears to be in their peripheral nervous system - so they maybe are a littl more like multi-thread distributed intelligence
Executive : Arm 1 go check out that diver's hand
Arm 1 : ok, i'll take it from here
Executive : Arm 2, go steal her dive light
Arm2 : I'm on it
