Honestly, I never played such a good amp. It has a huge amount of power and dynamics, it’s really interesting. It lacks a bit some bass though. I don’t use them, but the chorus is excellent, the reverb Nice and the distortion is average. It’s quite light. The Trace Elliott is amazing but I think the combination with the Hartke speaker is meh.

Quote: How do you like that Soleman MIDI controller? pretty good, but i'm looking forward to the upcoming singular sound's Midi Maestro which will probably replace it https://singularsound.com/product/midi-maestroany MIDI controller i know about is a bit of headache to mess with MIDI codes the MIDI Maestro should solve that

Re: The big pedalboard discussion
Boaz, I like that behringer 4 channel mono mixer! That was the best ~$23 I've ever spent. Dave brosky turned me on to Saturnworks, which makes some nice, high quality mixing / routing options.

I can't even count how many emails I sent back and forth to him while we were hashing out my custom split/sum box to route 3 signals into my tuner.

Re: The big pedalboard discussion
I follow LA Sound Design on Facebook, and they just completed the pedalboard/rack build for Alphonso Johnson's Stick rig. You can check out more pics on FB.

Re: The big pedalboard discussion
After a few rehearsals, I decided to downsize rig a bit, putting the Boss MS-3 and the Disaster Area MIDI controller on sale. Here is the last iteration :
Signals go to a Trace Elliot bass amp and Roland JC-40. Super happy with that very light and flexible set-up.
