That's great, I was just goading you. The Stick, whatever tuning, whatever length, # of strings, needs to be approached as is own animal. Not guitar, bass, violin, pianoforte, drum, cheese grater. STICK. Glad you're there

I think I will sell or trade my Railboard, and just take that right off of the "temptation" table so I can keep myself focused and not get "distracted" with yet another instrument...

Re: What is everyone working on?
Hi all,
Been working an solidifying a tuning. So far one step up on melody side is working best.
As far as songs, doing some that harmonize well with the stick:
The cars - it's magic Julian lennon - jesse Scritti politti - all that we are

Coming back more to stick again instead of bass. Working on some stuff from Greg's book as well as Daniel Schell's book. I do wish I'd have a 12 string instead of 10 though for the convenience. Maybe once I finish the thesis and manage to get a job ha.

For the new git-stick-dr band I just started (just one rehearsal so far, day before yesterday): Maiden Voyage, Footprints, 1 piece written by our guitarist
