Tap In Time Podcast, Ep. 28 - David Tipton
Hi everyone, Episode 28 is up! This time we head to Colorado to hear from David Tipton. If solo Stick gigging sounds like an interesting topic (and how could it possibly not sound like an interesting topic???), then you'll want to tune in for this one. Enjoy! https://tapintime.podbean.com/e/28-the- ... id-tipton/

I enjoyed listening to this. Thanks. It's fun to see the things I could relate to with David, as well as the differences.
Like that guy setting up his electric guitar during David's set?? I'd have gone all Gene Perry in his face...

Insightful! Yeah get David on again. He needs to learn how to cold-cock a child.

As a side benefit I discovered that I'd somehow missed that David had a bandcamp page when set up his entry on my Stickists list. I've now corrected that omission.

Re: Tap In Time Podcast, Ep. 28 - David Tipton
As usual, Vic did some fantastic heavy lifting on the production side and really created a masterpiece of a podcast for us. Hurray Vic!
Great replay value with this session. David is relentless in his pursuit of arranging and performing solo arrangements for the Chapman Stick, a player near and dear to my own journey.
On an unrelated note, I ended up getting one of these stompmix4 pedals on his recommendation and am not disappointed. An extremely unique pedal with an ideal load out of features for Chapman Stick players.

Thanks, Gene.
As happens periodically, our guest is someone I've never met before the interview. It's now apparent to me why Gene has mentioned multiple times in the past (both before and during Tap In Time's run) how much he loves and appreciates David Tipton. What a great time this was, so much content for the performing Stickist to glean.

I'd made a note while listening but must have got it a little wrong as a search didn't find anything likely to be correct. Since then I hadn't had time to go back to the podcast to double check.
