Re: Wow
My only issue is the lower two pickups.
The actv2 is great, if they had an active four, I would probably be happier. This goes for the railboard and 10 Grand wood Sticks.
Since the pasv4 went by way of the dinosaur, I miss the lower pickups.
The stick-up is great. They have lower poles closer to the bridge .
I need the lower two pick ups, I need a replacement for the pasv4.
I have a guy who makes custom pickups, he has a little CNC Router, so I'm hoping to maybe build a replacement for the pasv4.

You're probably aware, but people have put other pickups in a Stick. An example was mentioned during Bob's Saturday Zoom call a few weeks ago. I don't recall the guy's name but there was a web page showing the modified block.

Re: Wow
Hi Dave I am not aware. I would love to see the modified block. The issue is the string spacing it would have to be custom made. Quite a bit of engineering involved. 10 string standard, 10-string Grand, sb8, rail board, all have different string spacings. And different size blocks. You can't go out and buy a standard guitar pickup and slap it on , as far as I know.

And Hawaii based Joe Conti uses a custom StickUp on his oak 12-string (5+7):
The one I was thinking of wasn't either of those.

On a 12 string Grand Stick it's 7.62mm. If the difference was the otherway round that would be a show stopper, but presumably you could get narrow spacing by angling the pickup? I've not done the maths to see what angle would be needed & how practical that might be...

And because of the custom housing I was thinking it was not an original Stick.
