It is very nice looking.
The NS in the link is Ash, not Maple.
I have a Maple NS, the grain is more clear.

Lee Follow the link--there's two NS slideshow galleries there--one Ash, one Maple.

This new development brings a question to mind--one first posed by not yet stick a while ago... Is the new neck compatible with older bodies? In other words, would it be possible to order such a neck (and I'm thinking half-fretless, of course) for a "pre-owned" body style?

Here's a loaded question for Greg and Emmett... would you guys make an all fretless NS? What would be labor be and cost on that?
Love the half fretless idea, now let's go one step further...

Re: New NS/Stick necks - bamboo with Rails!
I'm planning to buy an NS/Stick,i love it soo much, but i see that it has 2 new improved stuffs: the Bamboo and the Fret Rails. My doubt is : does the new Rails will work fine with the traditional techniques(picking, plucking, strumming)as the previous Jumbo guitar frets? or,do the new NS instruments will be more toward the Stick "touch instrument philosophy" and less toward their multi-mode instrument nature? it's very important for me to understand this matter, cause i'm just choosing the NS for its multi-mode instrument features. does anyone have been experienced with the new rails on the NS?how they work compared to the old jumbo frets? thanks a lot in advance Dario

There are a couple of new photo series of bambo neck NS/Sticks in the hotshots gallery: The blue one has a dark brown dyed dark bamboo neck, it's very dark. http://www.stick.com/instruments/hotshots/
