Greetings Stick-Folk.

After long time waiting for the money, I ordered my first stick today.
Originally I'm a bassist with some background on guitar and keys, but was tempted a long time with getting a stick.

I'm following this board since a couple of months and gathered quite a lot of input and I hope to have some output to give back to you, as soon as I have the stick in my hand (and practiced a bit *g*).

For those of you interested, this is my setup as ordered:
10 String, 36"
Dark Bamboo with black pearl linear inlays
Matched Reciprocal, medium gauge
PASV-4 plus GK3 on the melody side

I live in the Netherlands, in Breda. So, now there's stickists in Moers, Iserlohn and Wuppertal, cool.
I have almost the same stick on order as you do (12-string, classic tuning).

Well, to be precise I'm a wanna be stick-player *g*. I hope it doesn't take too long. Production run just started and they said they could add my order but I haven't got my confirmation yet.

nope no facebook. And no twitter, myspace or alike.

And finally my brand new Stick has arrived. I got in on Friday and dedicated the weekend to it.
I still need some time getting used to it, but now that I've got it set up to feel comfortable on the body I'm ready to go (I had to put some additional wholes in the shoulder strap, since I am quite the opposite of tall and broad).
Already managed some of the exercises from the Stick Book, trying to keep a bit of discipline before advancing to adapt my well-known bass lines to the Stick.
