I think Steve A. uses the qsc k12 stuff and gives it good reviews. 2 inputs, lots of jam.....There's a thread regarding that system on here somewhere.

cheers,
kev

Hey Jimi.

Although I don't gig, (stickwise) the simplicity of one cabinet really appeals to me. You may want to look at the fishman soloamp as well. It's an awesome, lightweight, great sounding 2 channel solution. $1000 give or take. Comes with a nice beefy stand (I know you like your stands :D )......Some guys on here use them, Rob M., Steve A., Greg might have one too, not sure. I have one and I'm super happy with it.

Hows the stick playing coming along? If I recall, you are a fairly new player. Progress seems a bit slow for me but I'm always moving forward.

cheers dude,
kev

hey kev,

after watching your 1 year stick video, your progress not appearing slow to me at all! damn, i hope i can do that in 8 months :D

yup, total noob. but loving every second and wrong note. been playing about 8 hours a week since christmas, the first month kinda wasted messing with effects and midi/gr-55. i finally realized i wasn't learning anything besides how awesome it sounds.. so bought greg's new dvd (AWESOME) then "got to doing." 2 "flat" fingertips have been the constant challenge since day one, but i didn't have to learn hand separation, so kind of a wash time-wise.
thanks for the soloamp recommend, but i'm so invested in "stereoeverything" i'll forever need a L & R. (it's a keyboard players nirvana)

the tool/stinkfist vid... was that you on that pretty brown bass? looks like it might be fun on the stick.. that was tight!

I've played through the DSR112's. They are awesome. They feel smoother to me than many other powered speakers. Very clear pleasant high end. Solid low end.
