Post Another busking moment
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to grab the attention of a lady who obviously had some knowledge of the Stick. She had a pronounced Canadian accent, and disagreed with me that 19C degrees was a bit "cold". She bought a CD for her sister-in-law, who turned out to be Dale Ladouceur - probably the second person I'd ever seen pictured holding a Stick two decades ago. In some way, that photo probably contributed to me adjusting my wishlist to include a Stick. Another one of those "small world" moments that happen when you're busking.

Cheers,
Andy

Fun meeting! BTW, it is 19C here today and I agree with the lady that this is a perfect temperature.

I know all about that "lovely" northern European weather...for some reason anything below 24C/75F feels cold in South Australia ;)

Hey Andy.

Beautiful stuff with your busking contacts.

I remember driving home after a gig in Hobart at 1 in the morning, it was about -2 degrees. I said to my friend, who had lived in Canada, that it was pretty cold. His comment, naaaah -25 now that's cold, plus it's more fun because there's more snow...!!

Busking is great - and if I'm still healthy and enjoying my music in 5-6 years time (or when the kids move out), I fully intend to revert to a "perpetual summer" lifestyle. Seasons shmeasons.

Cheers,
Andy
