Hi everyone, I'll be opening and playing a few tunes with Tibetan singer Rigzen Dolma on June 16th in Manhattan:



The concert will benefit the Tibetan Language Project, a school in rural Tibet that Rigzen sponsors.

Nice looking poster! Wish I could pop by, but so far my personal statistics of visiting NY is approximately "twice a century" (hoping that will change though). Break lots of legs and make loads of money for the cause!

The school that Rigzen Dolma sponsors is one of the few in China that teaches Tibetan language. The government there does not support Tibetan language education, so this is a major avenue of support for sustaining Tibetan culture. The money is used to pay teachers.
