Post 'You rock' guitar
Ok, so im chilling out feeling a bit down when u.p.s buzzes. Hmmm...what could it be? WELL, my friend sent me a 'you rock' guitar. Now Im laughing as I look at the box, what a funny gift? Is it for real? Or a kids toy? A MIDI guitar with a freaking tapping mode?! There is no way right? Lord of the demons, it is for real. Well right now I am tripping my face off while playing this thing, Insanely great tracking, the fret board is like a ztar. Thats the only way I can think to describe it: A ztar for broke ass crackheads! Fyi; im ignoring the strumming strings for the right hand altogether.
*** I know I know laugh at the hilarious marketing towards kids and overall media vibe of the company(i am still dying from laughter). This should be marketed towards freaking MIDI tappers!!!!

Oh and just to offset their kids toy/video game marketing style: as presets their is a robert fripp tuning, their is a michael hedges tuning, wait 3 hedges tunings, all 4ths tuning too YES!

OK Im having a stick and urock sesh now and I'll let ya'll know if Ive gone crazy or if the time continuum just split ...

Freaky.

Hey Oceans I'm going to put the theory thread here in "Teflon" since it's not particularly about Sticks.

Ok, so basically I love the thing. Of course it feels weird as hell and there is a learning curve. But, since I only use tapping mode its the dope chronic! The main flaw is the picking strings which is kinda what I thought. There are many adjustments and ways to get good but its a bit wonky out of the box, not bad though, mainy chords are the issue. So far the strange fretboard is growing on me, never like a stick at all but thats obvious. If you set the sensitivity right and all that you get a friggin sick midi guitar! I posted a tiny messing about video just for kicks. Random but you get the idea...I really like playing monophonic patches, so glorious
