Gene,
"Oh Carey get out your cane and I'll put on some silver" - a wonderful descriptive playful tune from Joni MItchell. Your arrangement does it so much justice and you, as always, captured the melody line so well you can hear the vocals along with it. It shows how great the song really is.
A lot can be gleamed from your technique with traversing lines, traveling double stop harmonies, proper use of alternating fingers while playing single notes, hammer on "Floyd Cramer" double stops all culminating in a nice rubato at the end!
You didn't have to show us the "warts", but if you felt the compulsion to reveal you are only part god and part human, well OK!
Those of you who want to learn more about Joni and the amazing synergy that occurred in California in the 1960's, I highly recommend a book called " Canyon of Dreams". There is also a DVD that you can rent on Amazon on demand too! Blue, and the title cut, is a great album. Excellent choice.
