Apologies, I have been quite consumed by medical problems, product development work, and initial research for another invention.

I called SE last month and was told that my Stick would be ready in "another two months or so." That is within the "three to six months" which was originally estimated; thankfully, I have plenty to do in the meantime.

Hope you're well. I think you did the right thing with the PASV-4. Also, I can tell you with certainty that you'll love the baritone melody. It's what I had when I played Stick, and it's the main thing I miss about the instrument.

It is now clear that I have to choose between getting my Stick and developing one of my guitar inventions. I had given up on ever generating income with my guitar inventions, and I placed my Stick order during that time.

I said once on this forum that my inventions will change the electric guitar industry: the one in question is the most significant. I am going to wait a week or so before I call SE, but it looks like my Stick is going to make someone else happy while I put my money where my mouth is. With any luck, the fruits of my labor will be on display at Winter NAMM 2015—but only if I start soon.

This isn't the end of my Stick love, and there's always the chance that my life will improve to the point that I can afford a Stick with my own money. By way of illustration: would the Stick have been invented if Emmett's gross annual income in 1970 was $1400? I would like to think so, and that's part of why Ray still hasn't got me down.

My Stick order is officially canceled. I realized that delaying to next week would only increase the chances of my cancellation being too late.
