Live music indeed! So it looks like you do a solo act w/vocals and Stick - correct? I'd like to check that out over a pint. I also notice Fisherman's Dream is on your setlist. One of my favorites ever since I heard Capercaillie do it. They had a moderate hit with it in the late 80s on light (lame) jazz radio.

Correct. My son sometimes joins me on drums.

Yes, Fisherman's Dream is on my setlist but you've got to listen to Jim Lampi's fabulous version of this tune, as performed at the swiss stick seminar in 2003. Check it out here:

Great to hear Oliver, I am a big fan of your work. you make it look easy, and that's hard to do.

I had an informal performance on Wednesday night with Emotional Frequency and I am riding that same high!Next Friday will be first "real" gig with me singing - very excited. I've just updated my rig and am fired up to turn up the pressure and level up with Stick playing and singing. Hoping to have some video this time next week

Great post - cheers!

MY favorite tune you do, Oliver, is "Like a Hobo." Brings a smile to my face every time I hear it and I find myself whistling it too! I can't wait to get out playing in the future. If I work hard hopefully I can get out this summer.

And I look forward to those videos, Gene!

I am just getting a closer look at the set - definitely daunting!. Innocent when you dream is really one of my fav Waits tunes. Great to hear Tom is getting some traction with the Stick crowd (Dale L. does a fun version of step right up!).
