Post Double Wenge NS/Stick in the HotShots
Hi everyone,

There's a lovely wenge body/wenge neck NS in the Hotshots gallery.

Check it out, top row!

That looks great, but I would hate to feel the weight.

Stylish wood. Wondering how the tone differs compared to a bamboo neck with body of ash/walnut?

Compared to rosewood, wenge is lighter. The NS body is not that large, so these instruments aren't that heavy. They average about 8 lbs.

And I guess the NS is comfy to play seated. I wish I had a bent metal piece, like the one on the lower "horn" of the NS, for my harp guitar so I can play it sitting down.
