121normal Cutting Room Floor And Other Downloads
Hi all, I am in the process of cleaning up my "121normal" project website. I've been streamlining the "downloads" area and, in the process, I've added a short section for tracks from the "121normal cutting room floor." There are two tracks there. The "Say It Once" track was already there. I also added a new track called "Boston Blue" which is a remake of a tune I wrote around 1985 and first recorded in 1987. In addition, the two tracks listed under the "Love and Plutonium Soundtrack" section are the original tracks sent to the filmmaker before they were modified and remixed for the "121normal" release. In the coming weeks, I will also be uploading some of the more incidental tracks I sent them for use in the film. Go to http://www.121normal.com/music/downloadsRegards, Glenn

Those tunes are pretty cool. I found the progression in the "Boston" one to be very powerful. The loops in the second one are very interesting too!
Will there be another 121normal release?

Current plan is to take an extended vacation, move my studio up to Leelanau County for a few weeks and see what happens. Glenn

Will there be another 121normal release? If you can't get enough of Glenn's music, Oz still has a copy of his first CD "Solos on Chapman Stick" for sale in his store. That was one of the first Stick CD's I bought there.

Doesn't sound familiar. I'm 5 minutes outside of Detroit. Back to how awesome Glenn's loops are! (sorry for the hijack)

Geez. You guys are gonna make me blush Oz still has that CD ay? I don't think I even have a copy of that anymore. fcoulter wrote: I'll probably be in Frankfurt next Labor Day weekend. Will you be playing in the area? Hmmmm ... likely not. Although, it's not inconceivable that I'd play in Traverse City and it's less than an hour's drive from Frankfort. To Pete ... Frankfort is on Lake Michigan just an hour southwest of Traverse City. So if you're going to be in Frankfort, wouldn't you be flying into Detroit? Glenn

Will you be playing in the area? Doesn't sound familiar. I'm 5 minutes outside of Detroit. When I was growing up, I spent all of my summers in Beulah, on Crystal Lake. Frankfurt was the big city nearby. When I went back up last Labor Day to see my Dad's nanny, I discovered that Frankfurt has a population of about 5,000, about a quarter the size of the little town I currently live in (DeLand). At any rate, Frankfurt is about 45 minutes to an hour directly west of Traverse City. I know this cause Traverse City is the airport I fly out of. So if you're playing in the Traverse City area next Labor Day, let me know. Unless something happens to Mary, the kids and I will be back again. (Mary's over 95, so getting up there regularly has become a high priority.)

If you were to walk out the front door of the Cherry Hut across the road and head toward the lake, you'd be in their driveway. I don't suppose the name Tiderington rings a bell? Anyway, my wife and I have a place near Cedar. So even if I'm not playing we'll likely be in the neighborhood.
