scales
Hi can anyone help me out I've just bought a 10 string stick and I'm looking for scales chart major, minor, etc. I found one on the net it was good but only had major and minor you just put in the key you wanted and it done it for you. I'm looking for one that is 10 string with baritone medley tuning. I haven't got the instrument yet and yes I am only just starting, need all the help In can get.

Wow! Congrats on the new stick! I realized you were looking hard, trying to find one, you won't regret it for a second for the rest of your live. There was this very cool app that gives you all the scales and positions, but I don't remember the name... Help, anyone?

simple-not-simpler.com/my_apps/grdl/ loophole.co/STICK/
They are sites that Stickists made that will show you the different notes for different Sticks and different tunings. Not exactly what you were asking for, but I found both a great help. The loophole one shows you several virtual Sticks and even lets you play them with your mouse! That's some brilliant stuff there.
But more importantly, wow, congratulations and welcome to an awesome and sometimes frustrating but personally satisfying world of the Chapman Stick!

Re: scales
Since we have no open strings and no 3rd between the 3nd and 4rd strings, scales on the Stick are much simpler than on the guitar.
Check out Chapter 6 of The Stick Book, which shows how to play all of the common modal and harmonic minor scale shapes starting with each of the first three fingers of the right hand.
Once you know this, you can navigate the entire board with ease.

Re: scales
I am in baritone melody and have mad scales and chord charts. Some from the fretboard app and some I made. I'll look for them... Good ole C major D minor A minor pentatonic Mode chord combo's Hope that helps. Thanks to M&m for the app!
