Bruce, I guess "Lexicon" and "Focusrite" branded items these days are not necessarily what they once were either... I ran the Behringer as a second speaker with my AER at an unplugged gig the other day. Still impressed with it, particularly keeping in mind the price point. It was... |

Just got my hands on one of these Behringer MPA40BT amps. I'm one of many who have avoided Behringer gear for years, until I heard recently that their quality control has improved dramatically (thanks to new management and manufacturing partners). http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/MPA40BT.aspx Th... |

I hear you guys, it's just too much work for me! I'm trying out a different option and will report back on my success (or lack thereof).
Cheers, Andy |

As mentioned previously, I recently tried out the EX. To make a long story short, it's not for me. I want an amp that's more or less "plug and play", and I could not get a usable tone out of my Stickup (particularly the melody side) through this amp. The bass side sounded OK in a "sco... |

I have professional insurance policies for my essential gear (Stick, amp, a few effects), public liability (the standard $20 mil), and personal accident cover (80% lost income protection up to 2 years). Plus life insurance, full private medical cover... Come to think of it, I should charge these blo... |

Captain Strings - let us know if you have a chance to try it. As I understand, the amp was developed as a small/medium gig keyboard amp, but the main review I've seen was by an acoustic guitarist. Wish I could have run the Stick direct after listening back to that phone mic recording (youch), but unfortunately my studio room is doubling as a guest bedroom at the moment. Very enjoyable chat anyway.
Cheers, Andy |

Thanks to Gene for his continued work with FHF, and for being an excellent host. It was good of Per and Victor to tune in and contribute a lot to the conversation despite the time zone displacement...and Scotty who joined us briefly but had a troublesome connection (the irony of this modern age is t... |
