I think it was about 20 years ago that I first heard about Roman Giza's Idée fixe, to compose and record in all possible keys a set of several dozen pieces for Chapman Stick referring to Polish national dances and such classical forms as preludes and fugues. The fate of this project has been as tumultuous as Roman's life, but I have a feeling that we have never been as close as we are now to finally solidifying this project. For now, Roman has shared the first piece of the series on YT. Someday I'm sure he'll write more about it all himself. I encourage you to get acquainted and watch the development of this project.
The old Stick is still not found. Roman has recently stabilized his life a bit. So he managed to buy a twin to the old model. Partly for the fact that after so many years of being tied to one instrument, it's hard to switch to a radically different model and change old habits as to frets and pickup. And partly for the fact that with the donated Railbord, there are some technical problems. However, he uses Railboard all the time, as a replacement instrument.
