I'll be performing and offering a 3 hour Stick workshop at the

Sierra Nevada Guitar Festival
July 16 and 17 in Squaw Valley California (near Tahoe)

The festival runs from the 14th-17th, and you can get a festival pass for all the concerts. Accommodations and workshop registration info are here:

My performances will be on Saturday, and the workshops will be on Sunday. For newbies, I'll also be doing a demonstration of the instrument.

There will also be an opportunity to sign up for private lessons, I believe.

Just adding a little info to this.

If you don't want to purchase a "festival pass" the individual concert tickets are $20 or $25.

There's still room left in the workshop on the 17th.
My concert will be on the evening of the 16th.

I'll have several different types of instruments with me, in case you're wanting to have some hand-on time with an SG-12 for example...

And just to let you know that if you are interested in playing a little there will be an opportunity on Saturday afternoon, where I'll be doing an outdoor performance. The organizer has said that he'd like to invite other Stick players to play as well.

At this point there's lots of room left in the workshop.

Hmmmmm ... a chance to attend a Stick workshop in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Highly recommend for the scenery alone.

Hi Greg, I looked at the directions to Squaw Valley and it is closer to Santa Cruz than
I thought (less than two hundred miles ) So it is on the edge of possible...

By any chance are you making any other stops in our wonderful state?

I just need to think on the idea...I would want to play for sure.

It would be a pleasure to hear you. I have only one other stop out there this time and that's the Stick Night in Los Angeles on the 13th.

I haven't played in Northern California since a couple of gigs in the Bay area in 2001, I think!

10 years is too long.
