Yeah, someone spill the beans - what's RSS?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS

You need an RSS feed reader...some browsers may have them built-in, e.g. Firefox ( http://johnbokma.com/firefox/rss-and-li ... marks.html ).

An easy way to consume news, lists, forums, etc.

So I'm just trying to use this on Safari for the first time...curious about whether it updates itself...

For you Mac users there is a great freeware app called NetNewsWire that is really the standard by which RSS feed readers are judged. I use it daily. It is so much easier and more efficient than just using the browser. The readers in Safari and Firefox aren't that good, actually. Here's the link for NetNewsWire:

Different strokes, I guess -- personally I am a resolute devotee of Google Reader, which you get automatically if you have a Gmail account.

http://reader.google.com

Other big names to consider include Netvibes and Bloglines. A fairly competent RSS reader has also been integrated into the "new" AJAX version of Yahoo MaiI. Regardless, I am totally convinced that nearly any dedicated RSS reader, whether web-based or in a desktop app, will easily outperform the built-in RSS interpretation abilities of Firefox and Safari.

Just a note that I had to set up a new RSS feed with the site migration. but it seems to be working fine now.

Oh, my bad. I forgot to notify folks that the RSS feed has been changed from stickist.com/forum to stickist.com, putting the forums in the root directory.

Since the forums are now in the root directory, any links or bookmarks to the forums will also need to be updated.

I threw up a notice of change at forum
