Steve Hahn, Sh
Hello everyone, I've said this before on this forum - years ago - and I want to say it again to bring it up. One of the great Stick recordings is Steve Hahn's "Sh." This record has been a great inspiration. I'm not sure if Steve is sill fulfilling orders but if you can acquire a copy it will be more than worth the effort. http://www.deepchocolate.com/ordering.htmEric

I love this album of Steve's. It's one of the best examples of how to use dynamics. Nicely recorded as well. And the tunes are fabulous.

Listened to it a couple of times again during the lockdown. Very nice album indeed. I wonder if Steve is still active, alive and playing?

Re: Steve Hahn, Sh
Steve is a great guy - I bought Stickbusrst in the 90s from him via mail order, and I remember how pleasant he was in our email correspondence.
In 2010 he came out to the east coast and we did a NJ Proghouse gig together and a Stick Night with Greg Howard in Virginia. He's a very kind and encouraging person.
We still stay in touch occasionally, he moved to upstate NY within the past couple years after living in Colorado for a while, and it seems he was still doing music related things up through 2019.
He has a clever way of playing the Stick and trumpet at the same time, using foot pedals for the valves!
