First of all, congrats to Stickrad for landing the Kiss of Reality gig. http://www.stickist.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=17407 I read up on the band, and found they did an album with Toya Willcox in the early 90s. She was also the singer for Sunday All Over the World, a band with Robert Fripp and Trey Gunn, and I remember hearing that she was married to Robert Fripp. Unfortunately, this search for info lead me to a deep, dark place that no one should ever go... Many of us were inpired by Tony Leven in King Chrimson. And we've heard all about Robert Fripp, reportedly the most snobbish and uptight of players in Rock and Roll. This is how Tony Levin once described him: Quote: Mr. Fripp was the most fastidious of guitarists. The most careful, the most precise, the least ‘rock looking’ of all rock guitarists. Seated, always, on a stool of exactly the correct height, one foot on the floor, the other on the left lower rung of afore-mentioned stool, he held his guitar in exactly the proper position, right hand poised with it’s pick, ready to play at considerable velocity. And he glared. He peered out at the rest of the band, (and the world, in fact) through glasses cleaned to a shiny perfection, his face ruddy from the closest of shaves and perhaps from over-scrubbing, his lips pursed to a straight line, as if to say, ‘What torture are you going to inflict on me now? What musical errors, what lack of focus, what dreadful volume, what pain and suffering will I have to endure because of you?” The audience was not excluded from these harsh expectations; he expected, no, demanded complete attention, silence, presence, and above all, he insisted that audience members not be so crude as to bring a recording device or camera to the concert, and, god forbid, to use it during the performance. https://tonylevin.com/writing/a-concert-in-three-voices A very clear picture, right? Wrong. WARNING: The following link contains truely shocking images and footages that you will not be able to "unsee." Ah, I see. Well I certainly found it shocking. I was wondering "who else knows about this?" The only possibility that I can think of is that it's some kind of conspiracy - a government cover up. ![]() ![]() |

Thanks for the love Rick. Maybe this thread should be called alien fingers… ? ![]() If I’m fit, healthy and having that much fun when I’m nearly 80, I’ll be a proud man. Fripp’s exacting standards are of course, the stuff of legend. Didn’t Belew say that he lost hair after playing some of the 80s Crimson material. Good times. #_# |
