Thank you both for the posts! At the time I had recently gotten that 2006 MacBook Pro (the first Intel based one) and using the built in video camera was trying desperately to get through the whole piece in one take. While quite lo-fi and rough by today's standards I appreciate the positive feedback I've gotten on that video over the years!

I'm especially intrigued by how you achieved the tone on the melody side. I'd like to know how you created this tone?

Back then I was using a rack of Boss processors, so each side of the Stick ran through both a Boss GX-700 and SE-70 in parallel (so I had two of each). On the melody side, there was a clean setting on the GX-700 with compression, chorus, reverb, and delay, and on the SE-70, in parallel, there was a "slow gear" (auto volume swell) patch that faded in shortly after the attack of each note (also with a lot of chorus, filtering, delay, reverb, etc). So it was a pretty thick layer of effects on the melody side. Sorry I don't have more particular details, I do have that rack in storage but haven't used it in years.
