New Stick Tune "The Plainclothes Person"
I was just jamming around today and realized I hadn't tortured Stickist.com with a riff in a while; Here it is, I hope that today finds everyone safe and happily jamming and practicing.
Some things I wanted to achieve with today's jam didn't get achieved, but then again a couple of unexpected surprises happened in there too.. All good, I just cut the part I felt didn't contribute to the overall vibe...
Alright, I gotta go do my chores now...

I like these impromptu cuts. Motivates practice. Keep ‘em coming!

Pretty cool! Some nice two-handedness there!

Good stuff. You keep your left hand going, no stumbles, and your right hand sings. I like your unprocessed tone, very clean.
Thank you for sharing you thoughts on my post regarding scales.

Yeah. It sounds like a detective in a mystery movie

Re: New Stick Tune "The Plainclothes Person"
Thanks for checking it out, guys. I ditched my 2 Boss GT-100's and am currently just going direct to DAW via my interface and it's working out pretty well; Logic Amp Designer is pretty cool and it works well with the Pasv4 Pickups In my opinion.
I have an L6 Helix Stomp that will be coming back to me soon, and THAT will be my new stick processor I think...

Mark Well another great way to learn your scales is pick a tonality and create some sort of riff or motif with it, something that you like the sound of, something that you are able to execute. I try to record a bit of every practice session just so I have something to think about in regards to what I played so that maybe I can improve it a bit... All just ideas, having fun making music.
