 "Space Race" (For Chick Corea) "Space Race" is a tribute to the great Chick Corea. Chick was a huge influence on me. I was lucky enough to have fantastic seats to see the Electrik Band several years ago and the RTF reunion shows a few years prior.
I play NS Stick on this track with a little Stick/Drum breakdown starting at 3:12.

Re: "Space Race" (For Chick Corea) My admiration! My enjoyment! Chick Corea was my mentor too, a challenger in my early 80s' recording and concert days, "My Spanish Heart" as the pinnacle.
"Space Race", "Back to the Future?", I'm there, awash in a somehow familiar sonic landscape of an ideal world with crosscurrents of divided rhythms, unfolding harmonies and mood altering orchestrations - flying free as as some new form of composed classical jazz.
