Yes, Giancarlo is definitely a living/breathing songbook. Just last week, an old friend of mine from my hometown (Houston) stumbled across his duo and asked if I knew him. He's one of the most well known Stickists in the Lone Star State, for sure.

I never heard him play, but I met him once at the home of Jim Kam back in December 2001. Jim had several of us over to mingle and talk Stick. That's where I also met Chuck Ivy, Brett Needham, and Jeff Norem. Great guys.
