For the tunes where we doubled, the fretted bass gave us the precision to have a "bass section". Then he would use the fretless to weave these beautiful counterlines on other pieces like "Experimental Sunrise" https://greghoward.bandcamp.com/track/e ... al-sunrise He actually uses both basses on this song, fretted in the midsection. |
