Stick Tune - Bach 2 Part Invention 1 Massacre
It truly is a bloody massacre. I spent all morning (hours) on this one trying to read it down and get it half decent, sadly this was the best I could do. I had to read this one down in about 4 chunks, ugh... I did two hands together but it is painful to listen back to... Now, there's a LOT going on here in this piece, so I thought I'd still share it as a sort of "snapshot"... (and perhaps shame myself into working out the bugs...) But man, oh man did I learn a ton from this piece so far.... And I haven't even gone through it in a good month or so... Lots of mistakes and screwups, and general terribleness and even an extra note here and there... Delay and reverb doesn't help. But I thought y'all could use a laugh. It IS funny... Happy Saturday, I'm now leaving the internet to work on my playing... https://soundcloud.com/jayesskerr/stick-bach-two-part-invention-1-massacre

Hummmm... I don't know.... of course it's not perfect or ready for live but... damn, one can truly hear everything that's going on. And I believe you: must have already learned tons with it so far. Can't keep up I'm sorry to say, but I'll try. Another one into the bucket list Enviado do meu iPhone usando o Tapatalk

A very worthy learning effort, Scott! A few blurbles along the way, but close to getting this one down. Keep Baching it out!

You guys are way too kind, it was terrible. BUT... although quite horrendous it is indeed a starting point. And I think I have a few strategies for getting it closer to being "real music". I just thought I'd share it in the spirit of "Hey, I like doing music - and I am totally cool with letting everyone hear how it sounds as I'm working out the bugs!"Bach is the best, it's absolute ear candy in my opinion!

Hey Jaye.
You had me smiling from the title alone. That's a whole bunch more Bach than I've got down, well done mang.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'm a big fan of this piece and enjoy playing it. That middle section is baffling for the left hand - so many adjacent notes! Thanks for posting and sharing your music and the learning process.
