Ok here's another tune I had created quite some time ago that I wanted to revisit. Some 7 string guitar, some 8 string guitar, some strat tones, and of course the Stick in a supporting role. I think it turned out pretty not too bad, let me know what you think guys! The tune itself is a good 25+ years old!

Yes, it's a guitar tune - but the Stick adds a very distinct flavour and brings an attitude that you can't get elsewhere in my opinion. :D

Anyways, it was a lot of fun to do this song in the first place, and then even more fun to revisit and refine it. I am kind of a different musician now than I was way back then... hehehe I doubt anyone would even want to hear the original versions of these - but let me know...

Wow, these are really nice! Great performances and well produced too. How did you do the drums?

Hey man - thanks so much for checking these out, and thanks even for for a quick comment - these tunes have been around for me for a very long time, so it was really great to have the time to take them apart and try to elevate them from their previous “sketch” status! Really fun to revisit!

For the drums, 100% Logic Pro “Drummer” tracks, Anders. What I do is play my parts in with a midi kit - quantize and repair my crap playing, mute that track and then set the drummer track to “follow” - it works out really well I think!

What great playing, Scott. I should pull this onto my phone as part of the set list for my next road trip.

Great playing, interesting layers, and a cool groove, Scott! Was the bass performed on the Stick? If so, that's one fat tone you got there. Very nice.

Nicely done! I am impressed by the guitar, the Stick playing, and the Logic drummer!

Yes sir, that's the Stick! Compressed like a mofo, played into a Peavey TNT 115, miced with an AKG D112, however I must confess, it is ALSO running direct to my board whch adds a layer of hugeness...

Thanks so much for checking it out, everyone - I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Sludge! I've heard several versions of this tune and it's at peak awesome now! Stick bass definitely added that lower side that was missing. I still think of this as the "Batman!" riff song. I love that riff--I've heard it enough now that it's its own thing now, like the riff to any other song I really like.

Chorus is definitely someone saying "Batman!" to the riff, I just can't help that mental image and apologize.

I didn't recognize the bridge now. Is that new? Some tasty shredding going on in there. Love this tune!

Bat Man!!!

What's not to love about a stick playing some heavy rock? Great job with the drums BTW.
