Hi friends, I have a new iMac (love it) and have some great photos taken from my 1st Stick "gig" and a few of Rich (Ironman87) and me with our Sticks however I don't know how to find the files and post them using the iMac. Up till now i've been a PC guy. I know some of you guys use Macs so any help would be much appreciated

Ray,

Apple have a couple of videos http://www.apple.com/findouthow/mac/.
You should look at least the 'Anatomy of a Mac' and 'PC to Mac: The basics'.

Personally it took me 1 week to get use to the new interface / philosophy.

If you click on the Finder icon on the dock, a window will open: on the left side there are shortcuts, including "pictures". They are probably there.
If you used iPhoto, export them to the desktop.

I have another quick question. I have a ton of tunes on my PC's iTunes and would like to start using my Mac to load my iPod rather than the PC. It there a way to transfer the music already on my iPod to itunes on my Mac? The only information I've found so far on line is about going from Itunes to the iPod, not the other way around.

thanks!

For transferring music from an ipod to a computer there is an application called 'senuti' (itunes spelled backward) here http://www.fadingred.com/senuti/.

I used long time ago and it worked OK.

Cheers, Daniel.

Hi, Ray.

Where are you pictures now? Are they on your PC or still on the camera? If they're in the camera then plug your camera in to your computer and launch iPhoto. You can import them into iPhoto and touch them up easily. If they're in your PC them get them put them on a USB drive of some sort and them import them into iPhoto with "File->Import into Library" menu.

PM me if you have any more questions. Also you should get on skype now and we can chat and answer lots of your questions easily. My skype ID is in my sig.
