Oh, I'd like to try that also!... Red is awesome!.. That must be tricky on the melody/right hand. (the chords after the intro)

I know the intro to King Crimson's Red on the bass part AND on the melody side, and I can play either one but not both of them together. Of course now I think I was aiming too high but now I don't really know what song to target.

Well, actually, it's pretty simple, and they are rather doublestops than chords. I play Red at about 2/3 of the original tempo, and I can say that I have more problems with bass and guitar parts syncing when increasing speed, rather then with the right hand itself.

That's exactly why I'm so stubborn about getting this one right, it's basically an exercise for hand independence (or interdependence or whatever). If I only play quarter notes on the bass side (just E octaves really) I can play the doublestops on the melody side without any problem.

I love to play the part where the melody just plays chords in 1/8 and the bass does all the work. Great exercise also, because changing the chord can get tricky as well. At least for a n00b like me.
